Mita Kapur is a freelance journalist regularly featured in many newspapers and magazines. She covers social and developmental issues with the odd travel, food and lifestyle humour stories. Mita Kapur was the director and creative brain behind the Jaipur Literature Festival in the years 2006 and 2007. Right now, apart from her writing, she is the founder and CEO of Siyahi, a literary consultancy and management firm. As a part of Siyahi, she doubles up as a literary agent along with conceptualising and directing literary events.
